If elevator and trim tab travel are set according to the Aircraft Specification, then, when the elevator is neutral (faired with the stabilizer) and the trim tab is also neutral (fared with the elevator), it is in the takeoff position.

This information can also be gleaned from the Operation Manual.

My plane had the pre AD elevator spar cracks when I bought it.
Ended up replacing the elevators with ones with reinforcements/brackets to comply.
I would not be surprised if the IA miss rigged the pointer, he missed the AD @ annual.
Not to single out that individual but the plane was in annual w/cracks when I bought it.

Hi David, yes all who requested decals got mailed out, looks like with all thats going on some are taking longer than others to arrive. I'll be home in a week, if you don't see them by then let me know and I'll send another.
