Re: RH rudder return spring C140
John,
Actually, the -2 version is the left rudder return spring which is hooked to the left rudder pedal on the right side of the cockpit. The -1 is the right rudder return spring hooked on the right rudder pedal on the left side of the cockpit. That one costs a whopping $153!
You may want to double check which spring it is you need. They are different.
Don’t ask me how I know about that stupid expensive spring

Re: RH rudder return spring C140
Ok guys just did a bunch of calls, Air Power had it for 48 but no free shipping below $100 (add 20). Some had it for about 30 but couldn't quote shipping and used UPS for a minimum of 15. I finally found one for $30 the will send it USPS for about $8 extra....so $38 total...best deal and they have several more.................

Re: RH rudder return spring C140 revisit
Hi Guys:
Well I got my replacement spring for the RH (passenger) side on my 140. I have looked and looked and cannot find a hole on the rudder assembly to hook the spring up. The old one was broken and hanging from the tab on the center console, it broke right at the rudder assembly. Any thoughts? (I don't have RH toe brakes....The pilot side has a clearly evident hole for its spring.....Any help or pics would be appreciated......Thanks.............John Sharkey 314 518 4818
