Re: Seat Belt Brackets
These are my Hookers. As far as I know all of Hooker's belts for our planes are made this way(?)...and will slip right into the bracket.

Re: Seat Belt Brackets
I never realized the hold down piece was split like that enabling the belt to be slipped on.
Hooker harnesses I have have this type of end, that I can cut off with my die grinder, but my belts are 3” wide, which is I think wider than the hold down?
Probably can still fit them on though, what is the width of the belt you have?

Re: Seat Belt Brackets
Anyone have any leads on a new manufacture replacement part? Not really keen on replacing with a used part with unknown history.

Re: Seat Belt Brackets
So I called about that bracket, Yingling said that part is on a 4 week lead time just to find out if it's available. At that time they'll set actual pricing if they can get it. Will keep searching around. I'm sure with the AD out it'll get a little harder to find.

Re: Seat Belt Brackets
Just to be clear it's not an AD.................yet. I wouldn't be afraid to utilize a used one, steel is significantly better than aluminum even if it's used. Just keep shopping and one will turn up.8359 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 5:23 pm So I called about that bracket, Yingling said that part is on a 4 week lead time just to find out if it's available.
