Rib doublers to repair or reinforce ribs at the main spar on rag wings. I remember a thread about those that had very good information. Referring to that again would be great!

I'm looking...

Can you recall dates, posters, or catchy phrases that might make it easier to find?

I don't recall who started the thread, but the only person to post a reply or comment that I can remember is me. Several aircraft turned up with cracks in the ribs where they're riveted to the main spar, so Cessna came up with a reinforcement. It even had a part number. I made some notes on it, but I can't find them. The thread was probably four or five years ago.

Thanks!

Anything that covers paint codes and stripe layout specs? The one image I found in the library for the '46 stripe layout is a bit hard to read. I wish it was a bit higher resolution.

John,

I found part of a thread in hard copy with my airplane records. Was wondering if you might be able to find this thread and restore. It had the title "Tailwheel bracket again" looks like the date was 2/20/03. There may be a related thread discussing Cherry Rivets for the tailwheel bracket. I see a post from Terry and Darrell that is likely in a separate thread but I don't have the title.

Can you see if that might be something that can be restored?

Thanks!
