Thanks Chris! Do you have a doubler or is it just reinforced with washers or...? Did you just do this with a log entry or a 337 or...?

It was done by 337 about 30 yrs ago. I don’t believe there is a doubler...I’ll find the paperwork and send you a picture

Having been in a crash in an older B55 Baron in August, 2012, that did not have shoulder harnesses installed, I can attest to the need for them. With a cracked and dented skull, and a broken neck from my head hitting the instrument panel, I will NEVER occupy a seat in a GA plane that does not have them installed. The Baron pilot died from severe head trauma 12 hours after the crash. My 140 has had a 5 point Hooker Harness installed for both seats, for many years. Works great. Not a fan of a single, diagonal strap without an airbag.

I’m a big fan of the Hooker Harness. Secure 4-point design that will really hold you securely when needed. Not overly restrictive in flight.
