Baffling Source

Post by 6277 »

Cessna Gang: FYI on a source for baffling. Full disclosure. Steve is not a family member.

Thank you for your inquiry. We currently offer baffles for the C140. At this time the baffles assemblies that make up that set do not have PMA approval, so we sell them as Owner Produced Parts (OPP) under FAR21.303(b)(2). A set with bare metal and black seals costs $986.59. If you want us to have the set powder coated that adds $153.13. Blue or orange baffle seals adds an additional $55.00 however, all of the seals are made from the same material – just different colors.

If you would like to get a set you would need to send us a OPP Request letter which is quite simple, but must include certain information about the aircraft and must be signed and dated by the aircraft owner. If you wish to proceed or if you have additional questions please let us know. Have a great week and stay healthy!!

Best Regards,
