A friend has a service-damaged wrist which does not give him normal strength to grasp and twist the oil cap on his engine. We devised the cure shown here and he subsequently has had no problem.
For those who like to repeat a particular orientation because their dip stick has capacity markings only on one side, add an offset or a marker to indicate "forward".
