I couldn't watch.
N76596 is gone. Having been with me for 40 years, I couldn't watch her leave. I had my son go to KVAY to swap the log books for the check. I thought the buyer was a serious 140 flyer, but...………..before the sun went down that day, he had it listed on barnstormer.com for $28,000. Just another plane flipper I guess.

A lot of us here can relate, Chuck! "That day" is inevitable, and we all hope to pass "our" planes to someone who will treasure them as we have. Sure sorry to hear that the buyer is apparently flipping yours. Chances are good, though, that it will still find its way to another pilot owner who will see it as part of the family. Whoever that may be will be fortunate to fly one of the best of the best! Thanks for sharing and contributing, Chuck! Mac

That was a tough day with a rotten ending!

So sorry to hear that. I would be upset but nothing we can do. I sold my boat two years ago and they always say two happy days of boating "Day you get it and day you sell it" SO NOT TRUE loved everyday I owned it and cried for weeks still miss it! Hoping 3600V stays in the family.
