I am getting ready to get my engine back from overhaul.
I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on making the firewall look really nice. I don't want to paint it and I don't think I want to polish it to a mirror finish either. I don't want it to look "over-restored" I just want it to look clean and nice.
Thanks,
Elliot

Re: Cleaning the Firewall
Mineral spirits and a light grade of scotch brite, maybe red?
Your not wanting to take any metal off as it’s zinc plated, just to clean up what’s there, often there is overspray etc to clean off.
Remove the zinc and of course it will rust, so a light cleaning
