Rubber Pad for Tailwheel Spring Mounting #0442119

Post by dtpilot »

I understand the 0442119 rubber pad is no longer available. Looks like I'll need to make my own. Can anyone here give me the dimensions of the pad?

Thanks!

Pulled my old one out of the parts box. It’s not cut square, but 1.5in by 1.5in is what they look to have been going for. It’s 3/16” thick.

Thank You for the replies! I'll be replacing the main TW spring, and want to freshen up the installation with new hardware and rubber pads.

Cut them from the sidewall of a tire.
