Seat Belts
Has anyone installed seatbelts in a C-120/140 using something other than the standard 3 bar belt attach. I am trying to install a BAS system and the belts have metal attach clasps. The FAA has not been too helpful for a Field approval.

Something useful if you don't already have it. Don't forget the AD on our center brackets.

Re: Seat Belts
Not computer saavy enough to post pictures. I have referenced AC43.13-2B chapter 9, Advisory circular AC21-34, and AEC-00-23.516-01. FAR 21.93 pretty much says I can as a minor alteration but AC43.13-2B pretty much pushes for a Field Approval. My FAA guy won't sign any Field Approval. I know that there are STC's however I want to install a BAS system.
