W&B Sensitive Instruction Needed in Southern New England

Post by 8349 »

Hi all,

Looking for instruction/dual time in a 120 or 140 in or around southern New England. Willing to travel a bit if needed (i.e., NY, NJ, northern New England, eastern PA, etc.) for it. The issue is I am 260lbs - so will need to be a CFI on the svelte side! Currently own and fly a Piper TriPacer, but looking to get a 120 or 140 eventually and know I'll need the time in type for insurance, etc. Weight & Balance is obviously an issue.

Currently have about 17 total hours of tailwheel time and will work on adding to that in the near future with some friends and local flight schools that offer it as well - but that is going to be time in Cubs, Champs, and a Maple. Only have about 2 hours in a 140 to date.

If anyone can help out, or knows someone that can - it would be greatly appreciated. And hope to see some of y'all at the Convention in September.
