WTB floorboard center shield assembly

Post by hotrodmac »

I’m looking for part number 0411854 - Shield Assembly -floorboard - center. It’s on pages 78-79 of the Yellow parts catalog.

Mine is a mess. It looks homemade, doesn’t fit very well, and has several cracks in the flanges. Not to mention that someone appears to have painted it with contact cement to hold down the carpet.

Photo of mine attached.

I doubt if it's home made. It looks pretty authentic to me! Try acetone if you want to remove the contact cement. Looks like someone clipped the corners off of the slot for the control column to make it easier to install. You might say they don't fit very well... There's an article in the Neal Wright archives about those two boxes on either side of the tunnel.
