'47 C-120 (C90)
When we pull the cabin heat knob all the way out (full heat), the knob gets stuck in the full open position (can't push it back in). I've noticed that if I open the cowling, and manually slide open the top hatch of the heat valve with my hand (see picture), the knob goes back to the closed position.
Is this valve something that can be lubricated/refurbished?
If not, does anybody have a part # for it? My searches have come back empty so far.

If I recall, it's simple to take off and clean/lube. Disconnect the wire. Pretty simple device. Lube the cable while you are at it. Probably hasn't been done since new....
