Compass "window" size
Can anyone please send me the dimensions of the compass window on the instrument panel? I have a panel that needs repairing back to original (full size instrument back to standard compass) so it would be nice to have the original sizes. I have attached the style of panel that I need the dimensions for.

I have a NOS older style (120) panel at the hangar. It appears to have the same window. I'll try to get out there and measure it for you this weekend.

Re: Compass "window" size
I have a 47 like the above picture, and an earlier model like Johns. The 47 is rectangular and measures 1.385 x .877 inches. The earlier panel is 1.536 x .90 and has a 1.25 inch radius left and right. I was curious and my planes were close by..

Thanks! And, yeah, I was looking at the two photos and noticed it looks like the early panel is round on the vertical edges.

Randy, you forgot to include: ambient temperature, barometric pressure, and relative humidity at the time measurements were taken!
