I’ll send you a message. I’m curious about the installation procedures…

I decided to buy buy the SBS J16 Odyssey battery, and install it in the existing battery box. I mounted it with the PC680 mount bracket inside the battery box on the fwd wall. I think it turned out just fine. I don’t think the battery box is original with the plane.

You guys have helped a ton! Thanks for the info.

I decided to do the same thing. my battery box is not original, and I actually don't know where it came out of. I was a perfect fit for the Concorde RG-35A, and the J16 Oddessy battery hold-down bracket fir perfect inside the box. The new installation is even better than the original IMO... ;)

Do you have metalized wings or a different engine? I ask because our 120 with fabric and a C-85 is over 100 lbs. slimmer at 939 lbs. EW (counting oil and unusable fuel) and she left the factory at 903 lbs.
