I ask this information because I don’t think my aircraft performs as well as it could in climb.
The freshly overhauled (by me) was installed about 600 hrs ago along with a overhauled mcm1006950 prop.
Static test using a tach check ranges between 2300 and 2350 depending on the day. I don’t know exactly what it is on a standard day. Minimum static on Randy’s stc is 2200.
It has the old style cylinders with the retarded timing AD.
The throttle opens fully. Timing is correct. Carb air box not bypassing. No intake leaks.
It cruises a 105 to 110 indicated depending on the day.
It has consistently performed this way for the last 14 years.
My guess is that a 48 inch pitch prop would still be within the mcm100 static limits.
A little heavier than Optimum at 1000lbs. Stanley Platt metalized the wings in th 60’s
Have been unable to locally find a reasonably priced mcm101 prop that I can inspect. (Have been burned buying sight unseen.
She is a good flier but struggles to get to smooth air in the summer. To me the prop is holding her back.
Next I’m going to borrow a prop protractor and see if I really have a 50 pitch prop.

What are you using as a cruise RPM? I use 2550.

2550 for me too. If I’m not flying with faster friends I often roll back to 2450. Airspeed looses around 4 mph or so.

I don't know how much you lose with 4 degrees less advance, but I'll bet it's noticeable.
For 6641, I have a 101 69/48 you could borrow for a couple flights, but I'm in Michigan and you're in NJ? Check around and see if someone won't just let you fly with their prop for an hour or two and make some comparison flights. Changing props on a 120/140 is very straight forward.

I don’t know how much power is lost to the retarded timing but I think it must have some effect.
I have been casually looking locally for another prop to try but none so far.
