It's getting close. This years' convention is in Decorah Iowa (NE corner).
The Dates are Sept 12th through the 16th. Registration is easy/peasy. Website home page, scroll down and click on register. They even take pay pal!
Our convention host, Brett Willie has got some great events lined up. There are several hotel options available, although the main hotel I believe......... Is already booked. The Quality Inn right by the airport still has rooms and a very lienent cancellation policy if it turns out you can't make it. Just visit the "Convention tab" on the website for details. Convention turned out great, we had double the aircraft attending as last year. The host Brett Willie made for a fine experience. I had no idea NE Iowa was so Senic. We had a great time and got to experience local flying, food and best of all meeting new friends and seeing old ones. Thanks again to our host and to all those who came, especially the "first timers".
