Check Page Figure 15 it shows both the center and the outboard brackets.

Center bracket part number is 0425132, unless it changed when it went to steel.

Outboard right bracket is 0411528.

Outboard left bracket is 0411528-1.

Double check numbers I have not had my coffee yet.

According to my IPC part number 0411667 Figure 1-22 is listed as a bushing.

Cheers,

Rick

You are right. I was so locked into David Lowe's installation instructions that came with the STC that I overlooked the detail description in the parts list. I will have to contact (unless he is reading this) David and tell him he has the wrong part number (in at least as my STC attachment) in parentheses beside the words "seat belt bracket" in the installation instructions, line item 5.

Again, can you still buy these parts and from Yingling? I assume you can. And again, a picture, if anyway can come up with one of this installation on a C-120, would be helpful.

If you bought the STC from David, I'm sure he wouldn't mind answering your questions.

It is my recollection that David just used the same brackets as were used on the outsides of each belt, although maybe it was the left on the right side and vice-versa. I could be wrong, though...

I am also trying to figure out how to install a center seat belt bracket on my early serial (#9798) 1946 Cessna 120. Without the later flap-control tunnel, I am not sure how the front of the bracket (part #0425132) should attach.

Does anyone have a center belt anchor on a 120?

Here's what's currently in my 120. Very clearly not an original part or any STC or AD I've seen.

You can see the cover plate that goes over the spot where the flap control tunnel would be on a 140.

My 120 bracket looks just like the posted 140 bracket. Not sure what/how this one was modified. But if the issue was that the AN3 bolted aluminum brackets were failing at times, not sure how well this setup would fare.

What does the front of your bracket attach to? Is there a rib between the seats like in a 140, just with no flap handle?

Contact David Lowe and get the STC. No muss, no fuss.

I have an email chain going with David Lowe, but so far it sounds like it relies on an existing center bracket.
Hooker Harness told me to talk to David Lowe and David Lowe told me to go with Hooker Harness.

Does anyone have either/both of them installed on a 120? I'd love to purchase a solution from the appropriate source.
