The battery box seems to be in the stock location. I pulled the aft floor board and bulkhead panels today. Seems they hauled some fuel/ camp oil that leaked into the tail cone. Probably 30 years ago. Dark, sticky oil residue. Fun times to clean up. The plane was used for winter ice fishing trips on skis. What do you think to clean that?

Thanks for posting! Hard to tell from the photo, any of the control cables relocated?

The arm for the aux fuel is 23.5, so, I'm guessing it is in the wings. Probably another 337...

The computation probably doesn't include a passenger because they are going for most rearward CG at gross, and the baggage compartment arm is more aft, so, putting the 33 lbs in the back has more effect on the CG than a 33 lb passenger would...

A more critical computation would be less fuel and more weight in the baggage compartment.

Thanks John, I totally missed that tank location. Now it makes sense at 90 lbs, especially if it's another 140 tank inline. 75 lb fuel, 15 lbs hardware/tank.

Wasn't that what the 48' C-170 ragwing used, 3 Cessna 140 tanks?

Boy, this airplane has some neat modications!! Anything else you might like to share that will bring a smile to our faces? Enjoy your new ride!!

I sent pictures of that metal track. I was incorrect before. It is actually an L. I’m not sure what gauge metal, but it is very thin. The radius is quite wide on it as well, probably a quarter inch
