LED Position Strobes
So are there LED strobes available to replace your regular position light bulbs legally? If there are would you be able to eliminate your original inop beacon at that point?

Re: LED Position Strobes
I have no answer but another question, but reading 91.205, it seems that for vfr day, I could install non-tso led position and strobes and be legal, true? I understand non-tso lights would NOT be legal for vfr night or ifr. Advantage is of course, cost. Adding strobes to current position lights would be a safety improvement I think.

Read Chapter 4 of AC43.13-2B. I don't think the word (TLA?) TSO appears anywhere.
