2020 Convention

With much regret we are announcing the cancelation of our 2020 Annual Convention.

Updated 08/03/2020

In recent months the Officers and Board members of the Association have resisted this decision, optimistically hoping for a changing tide with the crisis facing our nation.  Only when it became apparent that the availability of the event venues, hotel accommodations and even the host airport facilities were in question did this become the inevitable conclusion.  More information on future conventions and events will be posted on the website as soon as this information is available.

2020 Annual Convention

September 8-12, 2020

Updated: 02/06/2020

Our long-time friends Vince and Denise Jackovich have invited us to their home airport in Davenport Iowa for our 45th annual International Cessna 120/140 Association convention.

Vince and Denise have hosted us before in 1991 and are looking forward to welcoming us again this year.

Davenport is located just outside the Quad Cities class C airspace, making it an uncontrolled field – easy to navigate for our vintage airplanes. The airport is situated within 15 miles of the mighty Mississippi River, which creates the border between Iowa and Illinois. The river valleys and open farmland create a scenic venue of America’s heartland. KDVN offers us two runways and a gracious airport staff who have opened their facility to Vince and Denise for us to enjoy.

Join us for the flyouts and tours which include the Buffalo Bill Museum, the John Deere Assembly plant, and a dinner show and cruise on the Celebration Belle, a modern 750 passenger paddleboat. Hertz and Enterprise cars are available.
