A flight school in France is turning to Tecnam to modernize its fleet. Hexagone Aviation School in Beauvais, France, north of Paris, has placed an order for a P-Mentor and a P2006T NG (Next Generation).
According to Tecnam, this collaboration promotes the brand’s expansion within France.

“We are proud to see Hexagone Aviation School join the community of top-tier flight academies choosing Tecnam,” said Pasquale De Rosa, Tecnam sales manager for Europe, in a news release.
Added Gilles Wallet, CEO of Kristal.aero, Tecnam’s French representative: “It is a privilege to support Hexagone Aviation School in this strategic evolution. Beyond the delivery of the aircraft, we are committed to a long-term partnership, providing local support to ensure these machines deliver maximum value to their instructors and students in Beauvais.”
Bernard Binet, accountable manager of Hexagone Aviation School, also weighed in on the purchases.
“The integration of Tecnam aircraft into our fleet constitutes a major asset for our operations,” said Binet. “Their modern design and performance will create an optimal environment for our students and support the excellence of our training programs.”
The P2006T NG is touted as a technically advanced, economical twin-engine trainer.
The P-Mentor is a single-engine, two-place glass cockpit design that can take a learner from student pilot through commercial certification in an IFR-capable machine.
Tecnam has been manufacturing aircraft since the 1940s. The company is headquartered in Capua, Italy, and operates two subsidiaries outside Europe. One is located in Sebring, Florida, and the other in Brisbane, Australia.
Tecnam designs are used by private owners, law enforcement, businessmen, and commercial operations in addition to flight schools.
